The 1989 Lamborghini Countach Anniversary is a luxury sports cars seen in 2013 biographical black comedy crime film “The Wolf of Wall Street” directed by Martin Scorsese as one of main character’s vehicles. At one point in the film, Jordan Belfort (Leonardo DiCaprio) attempts a mile or so drive back to his home under the influence of copious amounts of hardcore drugs. On the way, his gorgeous pearl white 1989 Lamborghini Countach Anniversary hits a number of cars, trees and shrubbery. And they used a real 25th Anniversary Lamborghini Countach for this scene, can you imagine?
Some people says that guys behind “The Wolf of Wall Street,” however, are apparently evil, as they wrecked a real 25th Anniversary Edition Lamborghini Countach in the movie. At least it looks like the car only sustained damage to the body, so it should be repairable, but still. They thinking that this was just wrong.
Named to honour the company’s twenty-fifth anniversary, in 1988, the 25th Anniversary Countach was the most refined and possibly the fastest edition of the Lamborghini Countach: 0–97 km/h (0–60 mph) in 4.7 seconds and 295 km/h (183 mph) all out. Only 650 25th Anniversary Edition Lamborghini Countach was built.
The license plate of Jordan Belfort’s 1989 Lamborghini Countach Anniversary from “The Wolf of Wall Street” was VKY 722.
