The Libyan terrorists drove a blue 1975 Volkswagen Station Wagon T2 (Type 2) through Courthouse Square on their way to Twin Pines Mall, on a mission of revenge against Doc Brown for stealing their plutonium in 1985 sci-fi adventure film “Back to the Future” directed by Robert Zemeckis. One drove the vehicle while the other stood through the sunroof with an AK-47 assault rifle.
The vehicle crashed into and totaled a Fox Photo booth when the DeLorean time machine that it was chasing suddenly disappeared.
