We all know that Bumblebee from 2007 science fiction action film “Transformers” directed by Michael Bay was a 5th generation Chevrolet Camaro. Not really.
Some people say that it was built by GM and Saleen on a chopped up current model Pontiac GTO chassis. The body is Fiberglass, made from exact molds of the Chevrolet Camaro Concept show car. The “5-Spoke Alloy Wheels” are actually fake, and are just wheel covers covering plain steel wheels. Their design was taken from wheel molds of the Chevrolet Camaro Concept show car, just like the body itself.
