Lykan HyperSport

The Lykan Hypersport is a limited production sports car by W Motors, a Lebanese based company founded in 2012. It is the first super car to be produced in the Middle East and is featured in the film “Furious 7”, and the video games Project CARS, Driveclub, Asphalt 8: Airborne, and GT Racing 2: The Real Car Experience.

W Motors plans to produce only seven units of the car. The first pre-production Lykan HyperSport was launched at the Qatar Motor Show in February 2013.

At “Furious 7” release Lykan Hypersport was the third most expensive produced car in the world!

At US$ 3.4 million, the Lykan HyperSport is the third most expensive car to ever be made, behind the very limited (four created, three sold) Lamborghini Veneno (US$4.6 million) and the one-off Maybach Exelero (US$8 million). As reference, the Lykan Hypersport is US $1 million more expensive than the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport, which was officially the fastest road car in the world.

The cause of the car’s high price tag is its very expensive included options. It is the first car to have headlights with embedded jewels; they contain titanium LED blades with 420 diamonds (15cts).; although the buyer has a selection of rubies, diamonds, yellow diamonds, and sapphires to be integrated into the vehicle’s headlights at purchase.

The Lykan HyperSport is powered by a twin turbo flat-six 3.7-litre (3746 cc) engine from the Ruf CTR3 producing 552 kW (740 bhp; 751 PS) and 960 N·m (708 lb·ft) of torque. The car is claimed to have a top speed of 385 km/h (239 mph) and accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (0 to 62 mph) in 2.8 seconds.
