Jaguar Land Rover will supply an some special vehicles to new James Bond movie “Spectre” – including the mothballed C-X75 hybrid supercar. Bespoke Land Rovers will stars in next Bond film too.
The Range Rover Sport SVR and Land Rover Defender “Big Foot”models have also been filmed in Austria, revealed the company. It’s a fitting farewell to the Defender in its final year. Special Ops added enormous 37-inch diameter off-road tyres, tougher suspension and enhanced body protection, suggesting this Defender will be even more indestructible than the 110 Double Cab Pick-up Eve Moneypenny (aka ex-Stig Ben Collins) drove in Skyfall.
According to the Dailymail, the scenes featuring the Range Rover Sport SVR and the Defender Big Foot have already been filmed. They are said to include a chase scene through the Austrian Alps.
By the way, turbo-engined sports car will appear in a chase scene around Rome. It will star alongside the new James Bond’s Aston Martin DB10, suggesting that the baddies will be driving the Jaguar again (reprising a role from Die Another Day and those ice-driving XKs).
